Sr. Manufacturing Engineer
Job Overview
In this role you will develop and productionize the manufacturing processes to enable final acceptance of the parts to engineering requirements for a high rate production program.

You will report to the engineering manager as a technical lead and work within the integrated product team to meet your objectives.

You will provide technical leadership within a team to develop and productionize manufacturing processes to meet engineering requirements. You will monitor the process and make improvements to maximize yield and efficiency.
You will work with suppliers to ensure the seamless integration of tooling.
You will write work instructions, train and support operations in the integration of process improvements, equipment introductions, configuration changes, etc. and perform statistical process control analysis to obtain process stability for a high rate production facility.
About you
Required Qualifications:

A bachelors degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or similar technical field.

5+ years experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in an aerospace environment
Additional Qualifications:
-
Catia V5 or other design packages
-
Statistical process control experience
-
Measurement systems analysis aerospace experience preferred
-
Experience with Metrology and tooling, including computerized measuring systems

Experience with GD&T
-
Data collection/analysis techniques.

Reading blueprints and customer specifications.

Automation experience preferred

Calibration experience
-
Aerostructures (metallics and/or composites) experience preferred.
