Mechanical Support Engineer
Job Overview
Cobham SATCOM is looking for a Mechanical Support Engineer be a part of an team of 13 dedicated Mechanical Development Engineers. Your main focus will be on maintenance/2D-documentation of existing parts, introducing these to PDM (Agile/Windchill).
Communication with both internal (PTA) and external (Vendors) stakeholders will be a part of everyday routine. Managing the CAD system will be within the field of work. This is a newly defined position where the applicant has the possibility to shape the final content.
This role is based in KGS. Lyngby, Copenhagen.
As a Mechanical Support Engineer your main responsibilities will involve:
Practical experience with mechanical measurement/documentation of high precision mechanical parts
Interest for and ability to manage and improve CAD/PDM systems (Pro-E/Windchill)
Effective communicator in both Danish and English.
Relevant experience as a mechanical engineer or relevant technical back ground.
You are proactive, analytical and innovative in your approach to task solving
A team player which thrives in a dynamical work environment
