Within these terms and conditions, “we” refers to the data controller and data manager(s).

Use of Personal information – Projobs.dk CV database

When you create a profile on https://projobs.dk and enter upload your résumés to our CV database, it is then registered and stored by our data manager.

The main purpose of registration is to enable companies which are interested in your résumé will be able to contact you through the ProJobs CV database.

Personal information which can potentially identify you (email address) are available to potential employers to whom you make your job applications to.

For this reason, you should restrict the information requested to the applicable and appropriate fields e.g. do not include your email address in the description field.

Companies can search within the relevant qualifications’ data so that they will be able to ascertain if you are of interest to them. If a company wants to get in contact with you, then you will receive a message about this at ProJobs.dk. If you are interested, then you can cooperate with the company to divulge more personal information as you wish. We are thereafter not responsible for how the said company decides to use the information that you have given to them.

You can decide how and which of your résumés shall be displayed to the potential employers in our CV database. Your personal data such as name, email, telephone and possibly photo (if you have provided them) as well as a more detailed description of your skills, education history and work experience will then be made available for all firms seeking candidate in our CV database. If you choose to “Bookmark” a job to allow easy access to it next time you are about to apply for that particular job.

ProJobs.dk indicates the number of views for your résumé and the number applications to a job of interest. All messages sent through our system are registered. The CV database has an additional function where candidates can set up “Job Alert” which sends an email whenever the search criteria for that alert is met. ProJobs.dk normally sends a minimum of five job vacancies in a single Job Alert. ProJobs.dk’ own personnel can sometimes put up a general or selective notifications to the users of the platform. This message is usually regarding important information on the use of Platform or to address an issue.

Use of Personal information – ProJobs.dk Online Applications

If you apply for a position via our website for applications, then we keep your personal data (application and résumé) in our job board as long as we have a concrete reason for doing so. It is only ProJobs.dk and that company who is seeking a staff has access to your data in relation to your online application and résumé.

We also store your personal data at the completion of a specific application process, this is so that you can easily be considered by the potential employer.

Use of Personal information

You are not obliged to enter or upload any sensitive personal information that relates to political affiliations, religion, race, union affiliations, sexual orientation or ethnicity or related at ProJobs.dk. We are normally not authorized to register that type of data, and if we are notice that it exists, then we will delete it.

Use of Cookies

A cookie is a small text file that is usually sent to your computer through your browser when you visit certain websites. The browser then sends the text file back to the server that it came from when you open a new page. In that way the server can recognize the browser. There is a wide range of descriptions about what cookies are and how they can are used on the internet.

ProJobs.dk uses ‘session’ cookies to remember that you are logged in and we also remember your actions, such as the searches you have done. The purpose is so that you can know how many views recorded. If you choose to have us remember your login, then a permanent cookie will also be placed on your browser for this purpose.

ProJobs.dk also uses Google Analytics, which is a service provided by Google Inc.. The purpose is so that we can look at various data points on how users navigate around our website. In this instance, a cookie is sent from your browser to Google with an anonymous information (sometimes including your IP address). Google stores the information on their servers in the USA. Google will not coordinate your IP address with any other data which Google may have in their possession. Read more here.

ProJobs.dk can have featured or sponsored jobs embedded from different companies and Indeed, for example the featured jobs at the front page. In these cases, the advertiser can independently collect anonymous information to use for statistics on the ad’s impacts and traffic sources.

You can disable cookies in your browser’s settings, but this will however limit the functionality of ProJobs.dk. If you disable cookies from our partners it would not however affect the general user experience.

Deleting your information

You can at any time delete your data by contacting the data controller in writing. If you want us to delete all of your registered data, then we must delete your entire user profile, and not just your résumé.

We will automatically delete all your data from our database after 3 years  from the last date you updated them.

Taking control of your data

You can always view and correct your personal data by logging in and selecting the relevant field and fixing it. If you need help with this, you can watch one of our tutorials or you can contact ProJobs.dk via support@ProJobs.dk.

We retain the right to change your provided information in the case we are made aware that your CV contains incorrect or illegal information. This will however not normally occur, and we will inform you about changes like that.

Disclaimer

We reserve the right to remove your information in the case of misuse or use for illegal and/or criminal purposes.

We can not be held responsible for any losses you may suffer because we change or discontinue our service, or because our services are no longer available.

We cannot in any way be held responsible for any compensation claims relating to the information publicly available on the website – regardless of the unlikely event that it was not correct. We can therefore not be held liable for any damages or losses that, directly or indirectly, are incurred due to the information that is available at ProJobs.dk.

We encourage you to consider these terms and conditions of use carefully, as it may be necessary to change them. This can, for example, occur with respect to changes in our service and/or changes in the law.
